Your Crew
Your Skipper is John and his mate Alex. A married couple who have been sailing together for nearly 20 years. Covering thousands of miles, incorporating the Mediterranean, Caribbean and many Ocean miles, on a variety of sailing boats in different sea and weather conditions.
John is a fully qualified RYA Ocean Master Commercial skipper, also holding the Gibraltar Coxswain ticket. Alex also holds an RYA Yacht Master ticket, plus medical qualifications.
Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable sailing experience for all to enjoy.
Safety
To ensure the safety of all onboard ‘Starlet of Dover’ is equipped with top quality equipment and all aspects of her construction and fitting out comply with the British MCA Code of Practice for small commercial vessels. Our skipper holds RYA sailing and first aid qualifications.
A safety briefing is held prior to every charter so all on board know the relevant safety procedures that are in place. Once this is done you
can relax and enjoy your time on board.
